Meet Dr. Alexa Sheppard

Dr. Alexa Sheppard is a chiropractic physician born and raised in Indianapolis, Indiana. She attended DePauw University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Kinesiology. She went on to receive her Doctorate of Chiropractic from National University of Health Sciences in Lombard, Illinois.  After graduating, she practiced in Indianapolis primarily treating auto injury patients utilizing integrative trigger point dry needing and acupuncture.  She also uses numerous soft tissue modalities including myofascial release techniques, cupping, and instrument assisted soft tissue techniques. Her primary goal for treatment is to help people recover from injury as quickly and efficiently as possible.  Alexa grew up surrounded by chiropractic, as she has multiple family members who are also chiropractors. She played many sports growing up, and always was able to treat injuries through chiropractic care. In her free time Alexa enjoys getting out into the mountains to ski and hike.  She also enjoys playing golf, tennis, cooking, music and exploring the Denver food scene.
